Scope of our Work

The ideas that comprise a science education

Learning science requires that you start with observations, then integrate those observations into principles. It doesn't work to start with theory, if you do, you won't know what the therories apply to. Nor does it work to stick with observations, only progressing to understanding theories gives you a command of the subject.

We systematically traced the roots of each of the five major theories of science to see how they grew as explanations of observed phenomena. The result of our efforts is the Periodic Table of the Sciences. The table serves as a study guide, answering the questions: Where does an idea come from? and Where does it lead? In other words the first question is, "How do you know?" Answer: Look and see. The second question is, "Who cares?" Answer: Look at the usefulness of the theory when well-understood.
